Our Aonyx 25 backpack is a waterproof, rugged, comfortable roll top dry bag. Its packed with features and it looks great! It has approximately 25 litres capacity, depending on the number of rolls (we recommend 2-3). It can be closed by rolling the top and clipping together, or using the additional side straps to secure the roll top to the sides. Its waterproof construction makes it ideal for a variety of uses including walking, water sports and cycling. It even has an internal sleeve pocket that will fit a 13" laptop, so it's also great for commuters.
The welded construction makes the main compartment of the dry bag completely waterproof up to the closure. The Aonyx backpack has 2 padded shoulder straps, each with a D-ring for connectivity and a sternum strap with an emergency whistle, while the padded foam back with airflow centre helps to keep you cool when on the move.
The backpack has a carry handle at the top, and a front pocket with water resistant zip. The dry bag also features a full width compression strap towards the top of the bag (useful for compressing the bag and for strapping things to it), and side compression straps at the bottom, giving to plenty of options for attaching and strapping. There is a elasticated webbing area on the front and a reflective patch that's great for night time visibility. Oh, and not to forget the 2 side bottle pockets that will comfortably hold a 8cm diameter water bottle each!
Internally the backpack has a 25cm wide, 30cm deep laptop sleeve, that will take a 13" laptop, plus another pocket on the front for storing smaller loose items like a mobile phone or tablet.

How is this bag waterproof?
The main body of the backpack is made from a PVC tarpaulin material, which is completely waterproof. Rather than using traditional stitched seams the Aonyx has welded joins which effectively make it seamless to the roll top.

Is it submersible?
No we don't recommend full submersion of this backpack as it is a roll top and has no zip seal.

IS the front zip waterproof?
No, it's only water resistant.
